We are a group of professional musicians inspired by an idea of performing our favourite music in non-standard venues. Our repertoire consists of outstanding pieces of music from various epochs, experimental music and feelingful music from movies in our own arrangements.
Possibility of self-selection of a program, unusual locations and flexibility of format have united the musicians with challenging creative ideas. Since its foundation in 2018, the studio has developed rapidly – more than 50 concerts were performed in Russia and Europe during the first year of operation.
The project initiator Grigory Volkov studied the French horn and historical performance at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, the University of Music Franz Liszt Weimar and the University of the Arts Bern, and worked in various Russian and foreign ensembles, including the Zurich Chamber Orchestra.
